SHIPPING
Most of the products shipped within the contiguous U.S. are delivered via FedEx Ground and take approximately 3-5 business days to reach your doorstep. All orders shipped out via ground shipping within the contiguous U.S. will be charged according to the chart shown below. We ship orders every business day, Monday through Friday. All orders processed by 2:00 PM Eastern Time will ship the same business day. Exceptions to this include orders that are placed on Friday after 2:00 PM Eastern, over a weekend or on a holiday as well as any order requiring special handling, oversized items, or items that may be on backorder from the manufacturer. Every effort will be made to inform the customer of any potential delays BEFORE an order is placed.
Please note: We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. Orders may be shipped by UPS, United States Postal Service (USPS), and FedEx on an order by order basis at the discretion of Mitchell Home Medical. All orders require a physical address and a phone number in order to be processed. For large orders, phone verification my be required prior to shipment.
RETURNS
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange the item, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your purchase. Items must be returned in new, unused and resalable condition, and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs will be at the customer's expense. Returns will be inspected prior to issuing credit. Original shipping costs may be waived if exchanging for another item of same or greater value, however we are not able to issue a refund for original shipping costs on Returned items.
Step 1:Before returning anything, you must first obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. An RMA number can be obtained by contacting us. It is important that the RMA number is clearly written on the outside of the box. Packages received without an RMA number will be returned to you.Step 2:If you paid for the purchase with a credit card, your account will be credited back the amount of the purchase once the product has been received.Step 3:On all product returns, you are responsible for arranging shipment of the product back to Mitchell Home Medical (per the address printed on the RMA only). You may use UPS, FedEx, or any other ground parcel carrier of your choice.Step 4:If you are returning an item that is defective or shipped in error by MitchellHomeMedical.com, we apologize for your inconvenience. We will reimburse you the delivery costs and the cost to ship the product back to us. For any other return, you are responsible for the original delivery costs and the return shipping expense. |
SHIPPING & RETURNS TERMS
These policies supersede policies appearing on all other Mitchell Home Medical literature, and are in effect for ONLINE purchases made after June 9th, 2009.
PRODUCTS PURCHASED ON THIS WEBSITE MAY NOT BE RETURNED to a local physical Mitchell Home Medical Care Center location. The steps outlined above must be followed in order to receive credit for any return.
For all prices and products, we reserve the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements. Mitchell Home Medical is not responsible for manufacturer price changes, which may occur at any time without notice.
Please keep all packing material and documentation in the event that your equipment has to be serviced or returned.
Before returning any product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. NO returns, of any type, will be accepted without an RMA number. Please have the following information on hand when contacting us for an RMA number: customer name, invoice number, serial number and the nature of the problem.
All defective products will be accepted by Mitchell Home Medical for credit, exchange or repair, at Mitchell Home Medical's discretion within 30 days from the invoice date.
Some non-defective products may be returned for credit or exchange. Those returns authorized by Mitchell Home Medical are subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%, and must be completed within 30 days of the date of invoice.
All products to be returned must be returned within 30 days from the invoice date, 100% complete, in resalable condition, and must include original packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories provided by the manufacturer.
Mitchell Home Medical reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 30 days from the invoice date. If the product is accepted after 30 days, credit will be issued toward FUTURE PURCHASES ONLY.
*UNAUTHORIZED RETURN NOTIFICATION* Customers will be charged for shipping fees associated with unauthorized returns that have to be redirected to Mitchell Home Medical's warehouse locations.
Certain products such as raised toilet seats, commodes, erection aids, etc., may not be returned due to hygiene issues. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES CAN BE MADE AT ANY TIME ON SUCH ITEMS.
